Tskk tskk, Final Fantasy..

Well first off i would like to clarify that i don't own the game but a close friend of mine does and i play it quite often. First off i don't seem to be a fan of the final fantasy chronicles there's a few i like 7 etc., But when i played final fantasy tactics, it changed my whole view on the series i fell in love with the game. I do own the first one on VBA, and beat it multiple times, I believe it is much more in depth and have a much larger startegy than the main series. Though the graphics aren't the best it's sorta pixels and old school which bothers me not and doesn't take away from the game play, So over all what i have played of this game i give it a 5/5 stars, and recommended the following.
(Dofus)-The MMORPG PC game
(Fire eblem)(FFT1)(Wild Arms 1-5) all systems
Mrcatdemon out!

Still one of the Best tactics games

I was very excited to play the DS version of FF tactics,
well, when the time I was playing, Baam!! Brings back the memories I play the older versions, It is really good,More job classes means more fun.
It is very challenging when it comes to battle, choosing the right job.
The player should be very careful when changing jobs, well, it affects the growth of stats of each unit.
Well,Its still one of the best games I've ever played.

Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy. What can I say about this game series? Well for one, I know that it has more games in the franchise than I care to think of, but another thing about it is that some of it's spin off games are very enjoyable. Final Fantasy games are usually RPGs, but there are a few CG movies, an MMO, and SRPG versions of this Fantasy. And that's what I'm going to talk about now; the magnificent SRPG that is, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance: Grimoire of the Rift.(damn, that's a mouth full). The game is a sequel, not to the Final Fantasy Tactics series, but to the Final Fantasy tactics ADVANCE series. It's a really good game for the DS, that will consume hours, upon hours of your time. The game is typical in the SRPG sense; you take turns fighting enemies with a party on an isometric, gridded plain. The strength of this game comes from the fact that it has tons of weapons, items, and gear to customize your characters with, along with numerous job classes and missions to complete. The graphics aren't polygon pushing, but they look good, due to the fact that there are many vibrant colored sprites, and backgrounds that compliment the great musical score. The game doesn't really have that much of a story, but then again, neither did the previous one. So essentially, the gameplay is what will bring you to this DS game. You'll love the fact that the character customization stands out when compared to other games in the system, and the fact that you can spend a good 100-300 hours playing this game. It isn't without flaws, and isn't a humongous upgrade from the previous version, but it's still a really great game. And it's just plain fun.

Grimoire of the Awesome

FFTA2:GotR has improved upon what the first title offered and then some. The same can't be said about many other sequels these days, which is rather unfortunate. The first installment was undoubtedly one of the greatest GBA games ever made, and the sequel may very well end up being considered one of the best DS games ever.

What is most noticeable after playing for a bit are some elements borrowed from FFXII, primarily with obtaining loot and exchanging them for items at the bazaar. It may be confusing in the beginning, but it's not difficult at all to learn how to work the bazaar. It's optional to use, but you'll have a lot of trouble advancing in the game without it. The main way to collect new pieces of equipment is through the bazaar, so focusing on gathering various loot to trade in is key. The only way to learn new abilities (aside from stealing them) is by equipping weapons, armor and accessories, so you'll need to get new equipment as you progress in the game to become more powerful and versatile in battle.

Touch controls are available for nearly all actions, though you may find yourself not using them at all (like myself). They're optional.

Judges and laws are still around, but it's a whole new (and better) system. All clans have judges presiding over them, and before you engage in battle, they will inform you of what law is in place. Winning a battle without breaking the law will grant you with bonus items, whereas breaking it will result in dire consequences (it is best to "soft reset" when this occurs :P). While that is a tad of a downside, the upside are the additions of "clan privileges" for you to use. Before the battle begins, you can choose a privilege to give your party a boost, such as in power and defense, accuracy and evasion, increased speed, and so on. These privileges can be leveled up by completing clan trials, and sometimes you'll gain a new one, depending on the trial. Other rewards are given through these trials, as well.

More races, items/equipment, abilities, the inclusions of the bazaar and clan trials, and more unique missions await you in this new game. If you liked either or both of the other two FFT titles, or if you just plain like strategy RPGs, this is a definite must-buy. You won't be disappointed.
